Jonni West is "one of the most controversial and socially aware musical artists to come out of Britain". He has been labelled by many critics as one of the most successful and powerful hip-hop artists of his generation. Watch out! Because he's going to be around for a while…  and will change HISTORY.

Since the age of 12; Jonni has been making music of high quality, performing in front of audiences from 14. Through his studies in GCSE music in the UK, age 16, he released his first single 'Salt in the Grain' in which he was signed to Epic Records; making him the youngest musician the label has signed.  With inspiration from artists such as Michael Jackson and NWA his genre is Hip-Hop/ rap with the intention of making a footprint in history just like his idols. 

Now at 18; his latest track 'XXX' has critical acclaim, which he suggests is one of his ‘most meaningful and careful tracks’ he’s produced. Through 'XXX' he targets the problems he faced as a youth in the UK; knife crime and racial discrimination. With XXX Jonni won some of the highest ranked awards, with Grammy awards for record of the year and best new artist, along with Brit awards for British male artist and single of the year. 

Through the attention in the media, and success he has already achieved at such a young age, he is constantly working on more music; hoping to keep his crown in the genre, with upcoming collaborations with artists like Travis Scott, and Michael Jackson…
